MEMORY LANES STORYTELLING by THEATRE & PHOTOGRAPHY
Teatro & Arte
3.11 STUDIO, Lisboa
Descrição do Evento
MEMORY LANES Staged Readings in English, a 2-day international art event of storytelling by theatre & photography, combining stories by Russian-American writer Vladimir Nabokov with photo memories by Portuguese artist Nuno Vieira.
3.11 photo studio at LX factory becomes a dimly-lit magic phototheatre venue where human destinies cross… a Berlin railway station in 1924, a resort town on the Riviera in 1932, a room empty of everything except music.
JA will interlace theatre with the magic of photography to form a triptych of three stories: Nabokov’s first novel, “Maschenka” (“Mary” in English) and two of his short stories – ‘Spring in Fialta’ and ‘Music’
The performance will run over 2 days in
